Many a times, subjective aspects of restoration, such as color restoration, grain & noise management have to be done in close loop with content owner. Hence they are best done by the client facing organization. Whereas, defect concealment and artifact removal, can be done in another low cost location. Manually intensive parts of the restoration such as dust busting, scratch removal etc. are best done at cost effective locations. We have our studio based out of Pune, which has close proximity to Mumbai - and hence has a dual advantage of access to resources in Mumbai -Bollywood, and cost advantage of Pune.
